Personal Profile
Dr. Suleyman Basaran currently works at Batman University as an associate professor, where he teaches courses such as Process Drama, Speaking and Presentation Skills, ELT Methodology, and Research Methodology. Besides his teaching and mentoring responsibilities, he serves as the Director of the School of Foreign Languages and the Head of the Department of Western Languages and Literatures. Batman University is in Batman, a large commercial and industrial city in southeastern Turkey, well-known for its vast oil fields and refinery.
As a highly experienced life coach who walks on the path of Sufism, particularly influenced by Rumi, Gibran, and Osho, he is filled with an immense passion for transformational life coaching, which aims at transforming individuals via awareness and mindfulness techniques, and hence provides a sound basis for spiritual, relationship and career coaching.
